Even though this weekend’s forecast does not look that promising, Wiener-PawLooza will go on as planned this Sunday, rain or shine! Please be prepared for any kind of weather…it’s Calgary after all! The dogs are allowed inside the hall this year so you will not have to leave them outside.

Southland Off Leash Park is our favourite dog park in Calgary. We feel it is the perfect place for a Wiener Walk as it is fully fenced, has a few swimming holes, and nice big open spaces for your doxie to burn off some energy!
DIRECTIONS:
Take Deerfoot Trail to the Southland Drive (east) turnoff. Follow Southland Drive towards the river. The road will curve to the right and there will be a parking lot on your left. We generally meet east of the parking lot in a large grassy area near the washrooms. The green arrow in the map below shows where the park is.
