Earthdog Clubs

The PEAA (Performance and Earthdog Association of Alberta) is Calgary’s closest Earthdog club. The practices and trials take place on a private acreage owned by one of the founding members of the PEAA.

This club does not have a website, but they are on Facebook.

More information on classes or upcoming events and trials, please contact Sarah-Jane at

Here are the directions to the Earthdog site:

- Take Hwy 2 to Okotoks and follow it through town until you get to Hwy 7 (Sobey’s is on the left)
- Turn west onto Hwy 7
- You will pass a BIG ROCK on the right hand side (not kidding, it’s huge)
- Take the next left after the Big Rock (64th St)
- Follow 64th St for about 10 minutes until 455th Ave
- Turn left on 455 Avenue and go to the end. The house is at the end on the left and there will be a sign at the end of the lane that says EARTHDOG.

You can also skip Okotoks altogether and take the High River exit off of Hwy 2, then go west on Hwy 7. Once you pass the Big Rock, just follow the rest of the directions.
