My name is Jewels, I am 6 yrs old. I’m an insecure dog that is timid when meeting new people but will warm up quickly…but I don’t like to be left alone because I think you’ll be gone forever. I’ve been moved around between foster homes due to my housetraining issues and I can’t seem to catch on to the ways of going outside. I need someone with patience that doesn’t mind cleaning up the odd messes in the house, I will go outside as well but it’s getting cold out and I don’t want to go out there, I’m very stubborn about being completely housetrained. I like to bark at new things and am a busy girl always on the go. I love to play and be bossy and bounce around and tell you what to do. If you think I could fit into your home and lifestyle come and meet me, I’m very cute. Oh and I have a high prey drive so no cats for me! But I would love another dog to boss around!
My sister lucy has left and I’m now ready to find a home on my own, I’ve come a long way and really just need a structured, loving home. Someone to tell what is good and what is bad. I’m a very sweet girl!
UPDATE: Parker and I have been working with Jewels on her housetraining and she has gotten SO much better, she just needs a consistent schedule and she does great. We have also found that she is quite the escape artist and can get out of the exercise pen in the kitchen in under 10 minutes, so we have to keep her crated when we leave the house. She cuddles with Milo and Gidget all the time and loves to sleep with you. After she warms up to you, she will velcro herself to you…she’s very affectionate and just wants someone to be with! And here is the weird thing…she is the biological sister of Milo and Gidget so we know who her breeder is so Jewels will be registered with the CKC! I also have a baby picture of her at the breeder’s house! She really is a very very sweet little girl so we are looking for the perfect home for her.
