No real requirements, we use the honour system for shots, etc. There are some dogs who are not fixed so that is something to keep in mind as well.

I have two dachshunds and I was wondering if we have to sign up anywhere to come to this play group? My older dog could really use the socialization and my younger guy could use something to burn off some energy. Is there any requirements to coming or can we just drop in?

Hi Iona!

The meetups are for both dogs and the people they own so they can burn off some energy in the winter months. They will run, play, meet new people and socialize!

I havent yet been to a meeting. I have been wondering if this is a meeting for the owners of the dauschunds or the dogs themselves? I have a miniature daxi 23 months now and a Shnoxi (Dauschund/Shnuazer mix) that just turned 1. I would love to find a place where they can socialize with other breeds like themselves.
Is this the sort of thing for that?

All events are posted here a few weeks before we have them. Dogma is currently the only place available for us to rent.

We have 2 pups Shilo and Sullivan who we would really like to have some socialization through the winter months. Is there a scheduled time dogs meet at Dogma? Is there anywhere else? Anywhere in the NW part of the city?

Sherman &I attended our first Hallo-wiener,2010.
I was amazed to see so many Dachshunds,all decked-out in Halloween attire!!.
Sherman was dressed in a custom,Mommy-created,”BAT-DOG OUTFIT,complete with his own pet bat,that was hitching a ride on his back.
There were so many creative costumes that It would have been nice to have a first,second&third prize winners!!
Anyhow, I would be willing to lend a hand at future events,even help create different ones,if you wish.
