Hello All,
We are having a problem with Bali and his reactions to people. He will walk up to people or run up and squat low, then with no provocation he will nip. He bites and lets go immediately and has drawn blood on one occasion. we have taken him to obedience school twice now and still have had no luck in changing this unwanted behaviour. He also attends daycare with many other dogs and new people constantly wandering around, they tell me they have not had any problems that I am describing, but when he is with us it is getting out of hand. He is also constantly barking when he is outside and will not stay quiet even when going to the bathroom. We love him dearly and really do not want to have to give him up. But we are concenrned that when we have children that he may be aggressive towards them as well. In either case aggression is not an acceptable behaviour and we want to fix this issue as soon as possibly. Does anyone have some ideas on how we can fix this behaviour and get him comfortable around other people? Thank you in advance. |
