My Boyfriend had a Standard Wirehaird dachshund(SWD) when he was growing up. When we bought our house we decided to get a dog. I fell in love with pictures of SWD puppies. We found a breeder in Regina and she was expecting puppies right away. Cooper was born Nov. 26/08, he was the runt of the litter. WE went to Regina and picked him up when he was nine weeks. We all just fell in love with him. I was prepared for hell with a puppy, but I have nothing bad to say. He has been such a joy! When we go to the dog park everyone asks what kind of dog he is and they are always suprised when I tell them. I have taken a lot of pictures, I am such a proud mom.
